As per the latest changes in the cause list upload schedule of the Bombay High Court, we send the messages for the daily boards for the entire week on Friday (or the last working day of the week, whenever the lists are available) at about 6.30 PM. During the week when the supplementary lists are added to the main board, we give you the information for that as well if your cases have changed.

Causelists Covered

Short Causelist Service is designed to deliver cause list information to advocates by scanning daily and weekly cause lists for the next working day. As soon as the list is available on the Bombay High Court website, we send you a notification message for any list you have subscribed to. In addition, you may opt to receive notification messages and emails for the same information.

Notification Message Format

The notification sent to the advocates on the app is in the following format: Date- List- Judge- ** case – ( V/S ).

Sample Notification Message

If an advocate has one case in the daily list for HON’BLE MS JUSTICE G.ROHINI, two cases in the daily list for HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, and two cases in the weekly list for HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE B.PRAKASH RAO, the notification message sent to the advocate would look like this:

If there are no cases listed for any of the search names of the advocate in any of the above cause lists, the following message is sent to them:

 Here, Nitin S Dutt, NKS Dutt, N S Dutt, nitin s. Dutt are the various vakalatnama names registered with us by the advocate Nitin Dutt.

Notification Timing

The notification message is sent to advocates as soon as the list is uploaded on the Bombay High Court website. The notification messages and emails are sent between 6.00 PM and 9.00 PM since this is when the cause lists are put up every day on the internet by the Bombay High Court. It is between 1 PM and 3 PM in the summertime, and on all other days, the notifications are sent around 7 PM.
